ReplyDeletesarah, print-mixing is my favorite! i can understand why it might look a little quirky to some, but that's why i like it!
in this look, i went a little bolder with the trend than i normally do because we were just going camping with a bunch of our close friends, and i knew they truly wouldn't care what i looked like. (thank GOODNESS, you should have seen me the next morning!)
i started with the plaid men's shirt, and wanted to play off of the tiny bit of orange in the pattern, so i added the striped shirt. the floral scarf was an afterthought, but i liked how the colors of the flowers almost married the colors that were in the plaid and on the tee. i might not make much sense when it's spelled out, but i was feeling it at the time, so i ran with it!
Best thing about this is that you are smiling. Nothing looks better than a friendly face. :)
